2014 is the year of the horse, which for many symbolises freedom, strength and power. I think these are themes we’ll all cover a lot this year and I wanted to explore every week, what I read, see and come across which can help any of us achieve those things, as there’s so much information out there.
Now by the time I’ve written this, many people will have set and stopped their new resolutions. Next week I’ll share some tips on how to stay on track.
Here’s some great proof:
1. How psychology can help people stop smoking. This great feature talks about how techniques help people stop smoking:

It’s possible to stop smoking with hypnotherapy* you can get in touch with us if you want to discuss this in more depth.
2. Having heard and read this amazing site, I will eat less sugar. And whilst I ‘get’ how bad sugar is and can be, I also personally don’t advocate its all or nothing approach:
3. The positive impact of mindfulness. Everything I read, hear or see is discussing the concept of mindfulness for stress reduction at the moment and I think it’s amazing. Here’s two really interesting pieces of research:

At Fix My Mind, we may specialise in hypnotherapy in London & Hampshire. And, I’m also going to be spending a lot of time working in the area of mindfulness. Ultimately, hypnotherapy and mindfulness seem to incredibly complimentary. This is because both can empower you*.
I’ll cover more future blogs and for now, have a good weekend!
